On Friday morning, an argument at a Queens karaoke bar ended in gunfire killing a 22-year-old man and injuring his girlfriend, police reported.

Police sources said the victims argued with the unidentified male suspect while in the basement of the K-Show Bar at 38-10 138th St. in Flushing at around 1:17 a.m. on August 13.

Words turned violent, cops said, when the assailant opened fire on the couple, repeatedly hitting the victim in the chest. One of the bullets hit the victim’s 22-year-old girlfriend in the right hand.

After firing the shots, police reported, the gunman fled from the scene on foot, heading east on 39th Avenue.

The officers of the 109th arrondissement responded to the incident. EMS transported the two victims to nearby New York-Presbyterian Queens Hospital.

The 22-year-old man died shortly after arriving at the medical center, police said. The NYPD withheld his identity, pending notification from the family.

His girlfriend was listed in stable condition, cops added.

So far, no arrests have been made in connection with the ongoing investigation, police said.
