Little Woodrow’s Bar and Grill is opening a location in the former Sears Auto Center at Sunrise Mall, pursuant to a city building permit.
Founded in Houston, Little Woodrow’s is known for its woodsy, rustic look as well as its laid-back sports bar and patio.
In addition to its bar scene, Little Woodrow’s is currently in its 10th season of its turtle racing season. Hundreds of people gather to watch a group of turtles compete in a ring race.
The first to reach outside the circle on the mat wins.
The bar has not announced an opening date. The Sunrise Mall website had the bar’s estimated opening date for October 2021, but this has yet to be updated.
