LAS VEGAS, 22 October 2021 / PRNewswire / – Chickie’s & Pete’s named best ESPN sports bar in North America, celebrated the grand opening of its first West Coast outpost inside SAHARA Las Vegas on Thursday October 21. Founded in 1977 by Peter “Pete” and Henrietta “Chickie” Ciarrocchi, the crab house and sports bar has established itself as a Philadelphia staple and their world-famous Crabfries have become synonymous with days of play in the Northeast.

To honor and celebrate the historic opening, Clark County Commissioner Tick Segerblom officially declared 21st of October like Chickie’s & Pete’s Day on the Las Vegas Strip. SAHARA Las Vegas Senior Vice President and General Manager Paul hobson and Pete Ciarrocchi, President and CEO of Chickie’s & Pete’s completed the groundbreaking ceremony for the beloved sports bar‘s unique location.

For the first time, customers can savor the flavor of hometown Philadelphia and world-famous Crabfries on the West Coast. The menu features seafood creations like the Crabfeast specialty, including a pound of snow crab legs, a Dungeness crab, king crab legs and corn, mussels in red and white sauce, lobster tails and award-winning favorite, Lisa’s Blonde Lobster Tart. In addition to shellfish classics, the menu features must-have game day dishes with a unique twist like Philly Cheesesteak nachos, chicken wings and a range of juicy burgers including the Ultimate Tailgate Burger with Crab Cake. giant on a seared burger topped with cheese, lettuce, tomato and onion. It wouldn’t be Chickie’s & Pete’s without their exclusive creation that made them famous, Crabfries. The 8,200 square foot site is the only Chickie’s & Pete’s location to include a William Hill sports book, making it the perfect destination for game days. Sports fans can watch their favorite teams on 20, 55 “TVs in the bar and 24, 98” and 65 “TVs in the dining room. Three VIP Gaming Pods each include two TVs, oversized sectional sofas, video game consoles, a sideboard-style table, and custom Las Vegas panoramic murals. Throughout the dining room, guests can view rare memorabilia from sports legends, including Kobe bryant, Tom brady, Joe dimaggio, Larry Bird and more.
