Van hits Rookies Sports Bar & Grill on Thursday night in Schenectady (5 photos) – The Daily Gazette
SCHENECTADY – A two-vehicle accident sent a van into the Rookies Sports Bar & Grill in Schenectady.
No serious injuries were immediately reported.
All patrons at the bar appeared to have escaped unscathed, while the drivers of the two vehicles were taken to Ellis Hospital for evaluation, according to reports at the scene.
A police spokesperson could not immediately be reached.

The crash happened around 6:30 p.m. at Rookies, located on Van Vranken Avenue at Hattie Street.
The van appears to have collided with a Lexus sedan, then struck the front of the bar and lodged in the front wall.
rookies posted a photo of the damage on Facebook just before 8 p.m. Thursday, simply writing, “Closed until further notice.”
