Tinside Lido will become a Mediterranean cocktail bar
For four weekends during the summer, the Lido’s sunny terrace turns into an outdoor bar/restaurant hosting DJs from around the world
The idyllic idea of being able to sit by the ocean watching the sun go down, drinking a delicious cocktail, while letting yourself be caressed by the soothing sounds of an international DJ has always been reserved for bars and restaurants. overlooking the Mediterranean. But it’s about to become a reality in Plymouth.
Tinside Lido has always been a place where Plymothians have flocked in the warm weather to go and enjoy the sunshine and the views of Plymouth Sound, but it’s always lacked a certain something to compare it to the places you find along the French coast and Spain. However, all of that is about to change thanks to a Plymouth collective and their concept of ‘Live The Lido’.
For four weekends during the summer, the Lido’s sunny terrace turns into an outdoor bar/restaurant hosting DJs from all over the world. Using Plymouth Sound as a backdrop, the team intends to recreate the atmosphere normally found on a Mediterranean holiday; offering great food, mind-blowing cocktails and world-class music from international DJs.
