This Manchester bar is having an outdoor barbecue on the terrace this weekend with live DJs and cocktails
In true Ducie Street style, the super-cool Northern Quarter warehouse is throwing an epic Bank Holiday party this weekend, including a delicious al fresco barbecue on the terrace with Manchester sausage champions Grandad’s Sausages.
Taking place on their sunny, south-facing terrace, Grandpa’s Sausages are ready to toss the meatiest hot dogs all weekend, from Friday April 29th to Sunday May 1st. And the best part? It is not (currently!) forecast to rain! Rejoice!
Wrapping each gourmet artisan pork hot dog in a locally baked brioche roll, the BBQ weekend will accompany a range of other fun events, including DSW’s weekly Disco Brunch, which this week will feature resident DJs Justin Robertson, Massey, Muddy Feet and Marco Giannini, alongside delicious New York-inspired brunch dishes and bottomless cocktails.
If that wasn’t already enough, there will be plenty more live music to enjoy, including sets from Sprechen Music, Ad Hoc Records, Beat Boutique and Nite School on the Terrace, Eastern Bloc’s Jim Bane in the Warehouse this Friday. evening, alongside Beat Boutique and Tarzsa who will bring the beats inside the warehouse this Sunday.
For those looking for a bit of a detox, the chefs will cook up a storm with their new “Recharge & Reset” brunch menu designed especially for the weekend, featuring dishes such as turmeric fried eggs and mango on bread. lost, plus healthy moju shots and smoothies courtesy of The Green Lab. Guests will also be able to enjoy DSW’s incredible Sunday Roast with Sides, which features an entire menu dedicated to cauliflower cheese, as well as delicious Yorkshire pudding sandwiches stuffed with savory roast beef.
