The giant new sports bar opens onto Deansgate where you can enjoy karaoke – with a band!

A huge new sports bar will open in Manchester city center next month, with more than 20 screens, an outdoor terrace and live bands throughout the weekend.

Box – already an established name in Leeds city center – will take over two floors of a site on Deansgate, opposite Spinningfields.

While it is a sports fan’s paradise, it will also feature live entertainment, including a ‘Bandeoke’, where punters can take the mic and join a band on stage to sing the hits.

The bar comes from Arc Inspirations, the company behind Banyan and Manahatta, who say Box will be a place to “eat, drink, watch live sports, play and party under one roof.”

20 premium TV screens will surround a huge bar on the ground floor, with each seat in the room offering a view of the live sports that will be broadcast.

There will also be two 21-foot European Shuffleboard tables and a busy program of après-ski-style bands and DJs every Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

What the Manchester Box bar will look like

The huge 8,000 square foot site will have beer tanks filled with fresh Budvar, delivered weekly from the Czech Republic.

Pornstar martinis and espresso martinis will be available on tap, prepared according to a secret recipe, served with cocktail mugs and four-liter beer towers.

Food will include artisan burgers

On the food side, it’s double-fermented dough-based pizzas, hand-shaped burgers, marinated skewers and Box plates with mini burgers, mozzarella fries, crispy chicken popcorn and succulent ribs. BBQ risers.

This will be Arc Inspiration’s fourth opening in Manchester, joining bars Banyan in the Corn Exchange and Spinningfields, and Manahatta just down the street on Deansgate.

There is live music as well as live sports screenings

Arc Inspirations CEO Martin Wolstencroft said: “We are delighted to finally present our BOX brand in Manchester for its highly anticipated launch.

“It’s exciting to open the doors to guests next month, especially after what has been a difficult time for everyone.

“We are confident that the good people of Manchester will enjoy the energetic BOX experience and overall will come to us for fun.

“The bar will also create 70 new local jobs for the local community, and we look forward to hearing from people interested in working in a dynamic, fast-growing company.
