Teen mom Chelsea Houska reveals the ‘dream bar’ she wants on her North Dakota farmhouse as she shows off renovations
Fans of TEEN Mom tore Chelsea Houska as she showed her new fixtures “ugly” in his farm in South Dakota.
The former reality TV star has come under fire repeatedly as she showed off the renovations to the newly built home she shares with husband Cole DeBoer and their children.
Chelsea, 30, shared an inspirational photo for the home on her Instagram Story on Friday.
The photo showed a similar leather sofa than the Chelsea home, a round wooden coffee table and more details everywhere.
It was the overhead light fixture that fans couldn’t help but talk about.
The fixture featured a gold circle surrounded by large white bulbs.
While Chelsea was criticized for her design sense, fans seemed to like the fixture she shared as well as the other elements.
“Where’s the sofa from? I need it,” wrote one commenter.
Another added, “Gorgeous! How big is this chandelier?”
“I love the rug. Where is it from? Thank you,” wrote a third fan.

Chelsea hasn’t said if she plans to add anything in the photo to her own home.
The former MTV star hasn’t been without controversy lately, however.
South Dakota native was recently criticized for the apparent shadow of his skin in recent posts.
Earlier this week, she appeared darker than usual when she published the face video from his car.
“So Cole and I are going to dinner with our whole team.”
“And it was so much fun, I’m so excited to have a great little night out with everyone,” she bragged on Instagram Stories as she filmed herself with her long brown hair down and her tanned complexion.
One reviewer wrote on Reddit, “Oh my god the smudged bronzer on her hand gave me college flashbacks of trying it for the first time.
“Definitely went to school with orange speckled hands.”
Another added: “It’s blackfishing and honestly most white influencers like Chelsea seem to be addicted to tanning to the point where I fear it’s body dysmorphia.”
Fishing for black, is when someone pretends to be black or another race using things like hair and makeup.
In December 2021, Chelsea posted a photo of herself alongside her daughters, and fans were quick to point out that she appeared to be much more tanned than her children.
Another Reddit user wrote, “It’s weird how people come to her defense about her makeup color/skin color being too dark. I guess it bothers me when white girls try so hard to d ‘look brown.’
A week later, she was compared to Farrah Abraham, a former MTV because of its apparently darker skin.
Stars like Ariana Grande have also been accused of it.
While fans have questioned the meaning of the Chelsea Design and criticized her complexion, it continues to move forward.
Chelsea has yet to respond to the charges because she was busy preparing his new TV show.
The couple announced her departure from MTV in 2020 but recently revealed that he would return to the small screen on another network.
The duo have scored a brand new show on HGTV called Farmhouse Fabulous, which will follow them as they help families renovate their homes.
The new company appears months after the end of the construction of their all new South Dakota farm.
