Is this thing on? Rear kings bay has an announcement to make: the food and entertainment venue will be opening a new karaoke bar on Saturday, and they want you to show off your pipes there.
Located in a former private event hall, the Backstage Karaoke Bar was designed for ‘Don’t Stop Believin’ with professional karaoke equipment and an extensive library of songs to choose from. While waiting for their turn, singers can walk into a photo booth with costumes and props, or order from Backstage’s full-service bar or the King’s food menu, which includes heart-warming bites like pizza tacos, chicken wontons. Buffalo and a selection of burgers.
To celebrate its debut, Backstage will be hosting a big opening party on February 29 from 8 p.m. to 2 a.m. with free bites, a free dose of “liquid courage” and other opening day festivities. The party is free, but guests will need to register here.
Backstage will be open Wednesday through Saturday from 8pm to 11pm, when the singers can perform their best rendition of “Wonderwall”, “Sweet Caroline” or “Uptown Girl” – or maybe something a little more original.
Do you have a favorite karaoke song? Take our poll below and let us know what you would choose to sing in front of an audience, with or without a dose of liquid courage.
