36-Foot Outpost 35 4×4 RV has a 4-person bar and a king-size bedroom – Robb Report

There are two types of RVs: those that are best suited for weekend camping trips and those that are more like houses on wheels.

WanderBOX’s new Outpost 35 4×4 clearly falls into the latter category. The rugged off-roader will let you take all of your favorite home comforts with you on the road, including a spacious master bedroom, full-size bar, and even a washer/dryer combo.

The Outpost 35 4×4 is not one of those modern RVs that looks like a tour bus. Instead, it’s built on the chassis of a four-wheel-drive Ford F600 Super Duty. Atop this frame sits wanderBOX’s enormous exoskeleton – with it, the vehicle is 36 feet long and 12.5 feet tall – which is made from aerospace-grade aluminum honeycomb panels ( produced by one of the International Space Station parts suppliers). It’s not the best-looking RV on the market, but it looks solid, which is what you’d expect from a bruiser with a 6.7-liter PowerStroke diesel engine under the hood. The beefy mill can produce 330 hp, 750 lb-ft of torque and is strong enough to tow another 10,000 pounds.

The company has pulled out all the stops to create a spacious interior — there are seven-foot ceilings everywhere — that has more in common with a posh apartment than your parents’ RV. There is a full kitchen equipped with a three-burner induction cooktop, convection microwave, refrigerator, stainless steel sink, trash compactor and a washer/dryer combo. (Because, hey, the power of clean clothes on the road shouldn’t be underestimated.) The entertainment area has everything you need to stream your favorite movies, but its real highlight is a bar for four. people that can be converted to a raised queen bed. when the night is over.

If you have to work there is also a dedicated office with a full desk. The bathroom, meanwhile, is spacious enough for a walk-in shower with a massage shower head. Finally, the rear of the vehicle is reserved for the giant master bedroom, which can accommodate a king-size bed, two bedside tables and a closet. The bedroom and the rest of the vehicle are also cooled by a 30,000 BTU air conditioning system.

Of course, it takes some serious juice to get the Outpost 35 and its many features to work. A 24kWh lithium-ion battery assisted by a 2,800 watt solar panel is powerful in keeping devices running and also allows for off-grid living. A diesel generator, on the other hand, can help in the rare event that the power system is not up to the task.
